Polyspectrum was established in 2000 with the invention and Patent acceptance of the Piglet 1 Lead Series of guitar plectra. After Piglet one lead series was released to the public, requests for a larger design version, to be used in rhythm sessions led to the birth of Piglet 2 Rhythm Series plectra. Following Piglet 2, more requests for a similar design, but with a thicker tip, for Jazz and Bass players. So became the Piglet 3 version. Finally, requests for a thin and flexible version that required an entire new design, exclusive to Piglet,"finger and thumb" griphold features. The last release of Piglet. Piglet 4 is a completely new way of adding stability to a guitar plectrum by having a group of holes within the body of the plectrum allowing skin contact between the finger and thumb stopping any possible rotation of the plectrum while playing. The design features of the the holes, not only stop rotation, but also play a big part in the flexibility of the plectrum tip therefor both allowing grip and flexibility at once. All of the rhythm series of Piglet Guitar Plectra, will now be released in, "Glow In The Dark" colours, excluding the Piglet 3 AND 4 Polycarbonate series, eg:P4FP/P4S4P AND P3CTP. A new design is due soon, an addition to Piglet 4, with reduced size for lead purposes. | |||||
